Where it's made
I first heard from the brand called Tactic when Dennis showed me their website. They had this great campaign movie of a guy starting on a race bike, riding to the beach and running into the sea naked. It was clear to me that this brand understood exactly what I had in mind. We flew to Girona to talk to the manufacturers and to see the factory.
Their collection is made in Girona by local people and using as many local resources as possible. They have been doing so since 1998 and the quality of their products is just incredible. We teamed up for the first LSRF cycling collection and we are very proud of the result.
For our casual collection, we had to look elsewhere. The north of Portugal is known for its textile industry since ages. As we are trying to have as many products from my shop made in Europe, this seemed like a perfect choice. The quality of the cotton they use at Vestibarcel is top-level. When you have to buy a new shirt or a new sweater, you want to make sure it lasts.
The ceramic collection comes from Italy, from the Nuova Point factory in Civita Castellana, well known for its china. The thickness of their cups makes them sturdy and they also keep your coffee nice and hot. The Live Slow Ride Fast print is done in The Netherlands.
The enamel mugs are from China and printed in The Netherlands. For now, we couldn't find a dealer nearby that could provide us with the amount of mugs needed this fast. But we are constantly looking for improvement, so looking for production within Europe is also on the list. If you have an idea, feel free to contact us to share your information.
